Overview
THRC wanted to move away from the traditional, stuffy look of an industry report and create something that people would actually want to read. The challenge was balancing a substantial amount of research and content with a more editorial, magazine-inspired approach. I developed a visual system that turned complex information into approachable charts, infographics and visual storytelling, while giving the report a strong sense of hierarchy and rhythm. The result was informative without feeling overwhelming, and polished without losing its personality. The approach proved successful enough to become a foundation for subsequent THRC reports, which have continued to be well received by both the organization and its target audiences.
